My first Alternative Story Form, or ASF, was an infographic focusing on mainly statistics about off- and on-campus crime in Madison, WI. I pulled in some photographs, one of which that illustrates the short distance an off-campus street is, from Science Hall. This emphasizes important numbers that all Madison students and residents should be aware of.
My second ASF was a Sutori. A Sutori pulls together different posts from different social media platforms, or websites, and conglomerates to create a page that can inform people on one specific topic. My Sutori, titled, Media Outlets That Mend Miscommunications Between Off- and On-Campus Police, has posts from the UW-Madison Police Department’s Facebook and Instagram, as well as the Madison Police Department’s. It chronologically shows many different news stories that occur so close to campus, and Madison.
