There are different media outlets that I utilized during my time working on this project, not only did I take my own, original photos, but I also created my own magazine layout.
However, beyond my efforts, there are so many media platforms that integrate photography and creativity with informative aspects as well.
Twitter, in my opinion has consumed a majority of my generation. I know a multitude of students that look to Twitter as a source of news outlets. Therefore, I have conglomerated some important Twitter accounts that I believe all UW-Madison students should follow.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Police have a Twitter account, where they post about occurrences in the Madison area.
Similarly, the Madison Police Department also has a Twitter account, where they also inform Madison residents of different types of events or incidents happening in the proximity.
The Daily Cardinal, a student-run news outlet, is another great Twitter resource to look for on- and off-campus news.
